At our Chelsea café, the Rumble in the Jungle is quite the cult classic. A game-changing green smoothie, that you would simply not believe contains any vegetables at all. It is perfect for those who are not ready for the full-on green juice, but want to incorporate some dark leafy veg into their morning smoothie.
Many have tried to recreate our best-seller at home, but haven't been able to get it quite the same. We are now leaking our beloved recipe so you can attempt to make the classic smoothie at home.
The key to a great green smoothie is making sure you use a really powerful blender, so that your greens are as smooth as possible. We like to use frozen fruit in our smoothies to make sure they are ice cold, without watering the drink down.
In this recipe we use hazelnut milk, which when paired with argan oil, creates a deliciously nutty flavour that pairs perfectly with the earthy kale and spinach. If you have a nut allergy, you can try using oat milk!
Rumble in the Jungle
Makes: 1 smoothie
300ml Hazelnut Milk
Handful of Kale
Handful of Spinach
1 frozen banana
Handful of frozen mango
1 tbsp Arganic argan oil
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high for at least 30 seconds.
