Adaptogenic Chocolate Truffles

Who doesn’t love a chocolate truffle? However, unlike your typical truffle these fudgy bites contain medicinal mushrooms that support your immune system and can increase energy. 

Medicinal mushrooms have been used for years in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the health benefits are endless. And I promise they don't actually taste like mushrooms. I love adding a teaspoon into my morning coffee or a homemade hot chocolate. 

Ingredients 

1 tin red kidney beans, drained & rinsed

1 tbsp. almond butter

1 tsp golden shrooms

2 tbsp. cacao powder

2 tbsp maple syrup (optional)

100g melted dark chocolate

 Method

Add all the ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth and the mixture has come together. Roll into balls and pop in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Coating options: cacao powder, sesame seeds, coconut, melted chocolate.
